My mom was cool enough to point out that I hadn't done my summer homework yet. Using summer and homework in the same sentence seems a little sacrilegious. Yes, Apple Creek, I am treating summer vacation as a sacred object. It happens when you're looking at your last summer in high school.
Anyway, this summer I don't have a lot of plans. Right now I'm biding my time working my usual weekends at American Eagle and helping Anne out with the Meals on Wheels stuff she's doing - which everyone should get involved in, by the way. Good cause and all. I'm also juggling football practice which started up last week on weekdays, which is always a good time. I feel like this is where I should give a hearty "Go Rangers!" and all.
That's about it. Dad wants to go camping sometime in August, but I don't know how that will mesh with the whole work and practice thing, but we'll see.
WOW could this have been more boring? I don't think so. That's what happens when the faculty tries to get me to do a writing assignment when I should be by the pool.

I'm still going to do my best friend assignment. I promise. I just don't know who to I have a lot of friends, okay? Already talked to Mrs. Olives.
In other news, football tryouts are this weekend. Saturday at noon. You should probably try out.

I think I found my school.

Now, normally this journal belongs to my eldest, but I'm afraid that he hasn't quite learned the art of logging out of all of his accounts when he leaves his bedroom to watch Gossip Girl and therefore leaving it there for his mother to look at. In my own defense, I'm only here to drop off socks. It couldn't be helped.
But, since I'm here, I couldn't help but give a little insight into the world that is Gwen King, everyone's favorite Trig dictator. (Don't forget about that assignment, please. Problem 8 is tricky, so double check it before handing it in. I warned you.) Today I had the pleasure of hearing that both of my beautiful spawn will be attending prom with some sort of honors and the male half with a crown atop his blonde head. I couldn't be prouder, naturally, but since I'm very luckily signed into Ian's journal, I couldn't help but show you just who you voted for, Apple Creek.
( I'd hate to clutter your friends. )
That's my boy.

Prom is stupid. I don't know who to ask. Why do guys have to ask girls? That's stupid.
Anne? No. She'd just say no. We're just ~*~friends~*~ as Ryan would say. I think she's going with Steven anyway. Tara is going with Andy, but I don't think I'd be able to get through the night without selling my soul to the devil anyway so no harm there. Claire is nice, but she's best friends with Anne so that could be weird. Lucy isn't that bad, but I'm sure she's going with Mitch and he'd probably kill me. Noelle is going with Iago, but she falls under selling my soul to the devil, I'm sure. Becky is
Actually, I don't think Becky is going with anyone. She's nice. Really nice, actually. She'd be fun.
Oh, God, I just realized I'm writing in this thing like a diary. The teachers can probably see this and are laughing at how stupid I am. Hi, Mom!

That is my dog, Lancelot. Since he's only the best puppy known to man, I figure everyone ought to see him at least once in their life.

This is so stupid
Hey, this is Ian King. I'd hate to let Ms. Olives down, so here I am making use of the gift that was so nicely given to us.
Anyway, a bit about me. I'm finishing up my junior year here at Apple Creek. Anyone got a countdown going to graduation 2009 yet? If not, there's something wrong with that one. But, yeah. I'm a junior and I'm currently in baseball, but I'm in football, too. I might not be as spirited as Tara when I say it, but, yeah, go Rangers! God, that's
I've got a whole slew of fun classes this year, including my own personal torture that is Creative Writing. Don't know if you could tell, but I'm not much of a writer. This journal thing isn't really my thing, but, hey, like I said. Can't let Ms. Olives down. I'm over in NHS and representing you all on student council.
How am I supposed to know if this is 200 words You all probably know my mom, Mrs. King, to you, the lovely math teacher that you ALL need to stop staring at I got an insane love for math from her, which is great. I've got a dog, Lancelot, that's a golden retriever. Blahblahblah
Yeah, this should be a treat.

So when he came to the churchyard, Sir Arthur alighted and tied his horse to the stile, and so he went to the tent, and found no knights there, for they were at the jousting. And so he handled the sword by the handles, and lightly and ( fiercely pulled it out of the stone. ) |
